If Daniel Day Lewis weren't in this film, I don't think there's anyway I would see it. However, since Daniel Day Lewis is in this film, I don't think there's anyway I won't see it.
Interesting. I don't think I considered that -- the presence of Daniel Day-Lewis will probably even draw in musical-averse viewers (not to say you're necessarily one of those).
I'm really looking forward to this one. When I first heard all the names in the cast, I thought it was a joke. "Impossible!" I thought. Then I thought, "Yikes -- it's probably going to be a mess." But everything I've seen and heard so far suggest it's anything but.
Kurt, I just thought I'd let you know that you and Sean Burns are the only critics I read regularly. Otherwise, I defer to the aggregate sites. (However, I should note there's a great hour devoted to films I listen to every Friday on a local public radio show.)Keep up the good work.
Hey, I really appreciate that, thank you. Since you seem to be a very discerning filmgoer yourself -- who lives in the neighborhood of Hollywood, no less -- that's quite a compliment.

Do you anticipate it being better than Elijah Wood's "9"?
Hahaha. Yes, indeed, I do.
